ROBERT or ELIJAH BARTLETT

There is unclear evidence as to the name of the father of the following sons. There is an Elijah Bartlett living in the Kentucky/Tennessee area during the late 18th/early 19th century, but no Robert. The Wills & Inventories Index 1810-1828 of White County, Tennessee p. 37 lists Nathan Bartlett admistrator of the estate of Elijah Bartlett, dec'd dated 11 August 1815. Allegedly there is a Bartlett family bible that lists the name of the father as Robert. This bible was in the possession of Bess B. Bartlett of Booneville, Mississippi in 1957.

Issue:
JOSHUA BARTLETT died 1828. He married 1.) Winney Herring 2.) Winnie Williams.
JOSEPH BARTLETT was born 1765 and died 1835. He married Millicent Price.
NATHAN BARTLETT born 1764 and died 1837. He married Margaret Hunter.
