in Greek religion and mythology, is the god of shepherds and flocks, of mountain wilds, hunting and rustic music: paein means to pasture. He has the hindquarters, legs, and horns of a goat, in the same manner as a faun or satyr. He is recognized as the god of fields, groves, and wooded glens; because of this, Pan is connected to fertility and the season of spring.
Pan
Greek Horned GodOur Pan is a blend of oakwood, musk, jasmine, patchouli and orange oils.
The Great God Pan. Our favorite, he is the Greek Horned God of the Woods and Forest. A satyr - half man, half goat - Pan loves to frolic, play music and have fun. He loves the nymphs (and everything else!). This recipe is from the Tom Robbins book Jitterbug Perfume as close as we could get it sans that secret ingredient! And you can be sure that if we ever find it, we'll put it in there!
