Many perfume and essential oils, once obtained from flowers such as carnations, gardenia and lilac, are nowadays produced almost entirely synthetically. In the pharmacutical industry these chemically constructed products are called 'nature identicals'. The perfumery and flavouring industries require continuity in their products and since naturally occurring subtances such as essential oils are always subject to change as the result of seasonal condidtions, they produce these 'nature identical' oils - fragrance oils. They also produce aromas and flavour that just aren't found in nature as oils - Trade Winds, Leather, Ma'Wa, Ambers - and oils that are too expensive for many of us in their natural form. But because of their talent in the lab, we get to enjoy the pleasure of these aromas.

we cannot guarantee that once they are opened that they have not been
contaminated. All oil purchases are final. If you are in doubt of any oil, please request a sample.
