A colorless or pale yellow mobile liquid with a strong, fresh, minty-herbaceous scent and a woody-balsamic undertone. Poor quality oils have a strong camphoraceous note. It blends well with lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus (with those three our Magic Elixir oil), olibanum, lavandin, citronella, oregano, thyme, pine, basil, labdanum, elemi, cedarwood, petitgrain, cinnamon and other spice oils.
A shrubby evergreen bush up to 2m (6 ft) high with silvery-green, needly-sdhaped leaves and pale blue flowers. The whole plant is strongly aromatic.
Rosemary, when burned, emits powerful cleansing and purifyinng vibrations, and so is smoldered to rid a place of negatiity, especially prior to performing magic. It is one of the oldest incenses. When placed beneath the pillow rosemary ensures a good sleep and drives away nightmares. Laid under the bed it protects the sleeper from all harm. Rosemary is also hung on the porch and doorposts to keep thieves from the house and is carried to remain healthy. Placed in the bath it purifies. Burn some rosemary while studying for tests to improve the memory.

(Rosmarinus officinalis)Regarded as sacred in many civilizations, rosemary was burnt at shrines in ancient Greece and fumigations were used in the Middle Ages to drive away evil spirits and to protect against plague and infectious illness.
